Hosting and server log files
When you visit the website, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser identifier) to deliver the site and fend off attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are deleted automatically after a short period.
Cookies, fonts, tracking
If you choose a language, it is stored in a cookie (“lang”, 12 months). Fonts are served from our own server. There is no tracking, no analytics and no advertising.
3. Telegram-Bot
Group operators invite the bot into their Telegram groups to moderate them. It only processes data that Telegram transmits to it as a group member.
Which data
- Telegram user ID, first name, last name, username and previous names (to recognise users and track name changes).
- Group ID and group name.
- Moderation data: warnings, bans, notes, admin levels, joins and leaves, each with time and reason.
- Message content is only checked briefly (word and link filter). It is not stored – except as an excerpt in log or report messages the bot sends to Telegram groups chosen by the group admins.
- Technical error logs (incoming updates and API responses) for debugging, deleted automatically after 7 days.
Purpose and legal basis
Protecting groups from spam, fraud and illegal content, and managing several groups. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the group operators and ours in working moderation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Group operators share responsibility for using the bot in their group.
Retention
Moderation data is kept as long as the group uses the bot, or until deletion is requested. Error logs are deleted within the periods stated above.
Recipients
- Telegram (Telegram Messenger Inc.) as operator of the platform – telegram.org/privacy
- The admins of the respective group or instance (log and report groups).
- Pushover (Superblock LLC, USA) for technical notifications to the operator; only user IDs are transmitted.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Please use the contact details above. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
